Born and raised in New York, IM SHIN FILMS founder Daniel Shin went to South Korea and was a member of a highly successful pop group. That initial first step was followed by countless album releases, music song and video productions, and eventually writing full feature film scripts. He has numerous movie credits in Wedding Palace (2011) Hype Nation (2014) and K-dramas along with 5 released albums and an extensive song producer and writer credit list.

In late 2024, Daniel expanded his expertise in creative development across all facets of the entertainment world by finishing the film script “대기실”. By mid 2026, Operamen and ‘+-’ were also completed.. with two additional scripts on the way.

He’s passionate about the future of cinematic experiences. At the same time, he stays true to his music roots by producing for his group ‘The B.A.N.N.E.D’ as well as other mainstream artists.
